What are your plans for this Father’s Day weekend? A music concert or a game of golf with your hero? Whatever you do make sure it matches his loving and amusing ways! You can add to your basket of surprises with all the Father’s Day fun we got up to!
Start of the weekend by giving your father a taste of his own medicine by tickling his funny bone with this ‘Dad jokes’ infographic. Share it with your father to get him beaming right from the beginning.
Then, to touch his heart and soul, take a look at some of the heartfelt messages sent to us by our readers.
“My best memory of my Father is when I was 4 years old. I was taught how to tell time, so my Mother told me, ‘When the big hand is at 12 and the small hand is at 4, Daddy is coming home.’ So I would wait eagerly by the door and as soon as four o’clock hit, the door would open and there was my Dad walking in from work, always with a bag in his hand. I would jump in his arms, wrapped my arms around his neck and whispered into his ear, ‘Daddy, did you bring me anything today?’ And there was a smile on Daddy’s lips. There was not a day that would pass by that my Dad didn’t bring something home for us kids. So Daddy opened up his bag and there were wafers waiting for me. I licked my lips because those were my favorite. To make a kid smile, you don’t need to buy them expensive things, the wafers were cheap, but for me they were the best in the world, because my Daddy brought them home just for me.” ~Adina Paul
“My dad was with me in every walk of life. He was a great guide, a good leader when I was a child and he was a good friend when I grew up.
Now I miss him so much.Living and cherishing his memories.
My dad was the best person in the whole world.
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!” ~ Shekar Kannan

Don Mathis from San Antonio, sent us a beautiful and fun Acrostic poem dedicated to Fathers all over the world.
Take a look here:
Fathers are fun – and serious too!
And you learn more from them than you do at school.
Think of all the good times you’ve had.
How would it be without your dad?
Everything would be harder with no mentor for growth.
Reflect on the man who loves you the most.
Soon will come the day for you to fill his shoes.
Do you think your dad would accept an excuse?
Always try your best, that’s what he would say.
Yes, think of your dad on this Father’s Day!
